Campaign Information
What are we raising money for?
This fundraiser has two goals. The main goal is to raise funds to furnish our shul into a befitting makom torah and Tefila. Additionally, we are partnering with Bonnie Ridge to construct a paved path at the edge of their property to connect the Greens at Smith and North Beazer communities with Greengate.
What new furniture will be included?
The funds will be used to purchase new furnishings, including:
A custom made Aron Kodesh, a new Bimah and Amud for the Chazzan, enhancing the atmosphere of our tefillah with a cohesive and consistent style across all furnishings.
Additional upgrades, including chairs, tables, and new mechitzos, creating a dignified and inspiring environment for davening, learning, and community events.
These enhancements will transform our shul into a true home for Torah, tefillah, and growth.
Where is this path, and why is it so important to the growth of our kehila?
The new stroller-accessible path will connect Bonnie Ridge with Greens at Smith, providing a vital shortcut to the shul (see image). Currently, members of our kehilah coming from North Beazer and the Greens at Smith traverse a steep and non-stroller accessible trail coming to and from shul. Connecting these neighborhoods together is essential to our vision of a close knit community, with the entire kehillah utilizing this path for davening, simchos and social events throughout the year.
How can I get involved?
The key to our success in this campaign is for all of our members to create their own team page. We need you to reach out to your friends, your parents, your in-laws, and your extended family to offer them the opportunity to support our beloved shul and our future growth. You can easily create a team page at thechesedfund.com/ksa/gateway-to-growth/#join, filling out your information, and clicking the “Register a Team or Subteam” button at the bottom.
When Does the Campaign Go Live?
Although you can create a page and begin processing payments on The Chesed Fund today, our fundraising initiative officially runs from December 25th (Chanukah begins that night) through January 1st (last night of Chanukah).
